Weve reached the quarter-final stage of just one player and the championship remains for time in World Grand Prix history! Thats seed is none other than Michael Van Gerwen and that he has to really fancy his odds. Nathan Aspinall proceeds to impress, so he never knows when hes beaten. His game against Chizzy tonight needs to be electrical but Im struggling to find an angle to get this from a point of view. Glenn Durrant beat Rob Cross in Jermaine Wattimena and a thriller deservedly beat Peter Wright. This evening, they play with with each other and Id anticipate that one to be come during by Durrant but hes too brief for me to have a wager on. I think the two games provide better betting propositions.
To kick off the evening weve Ian White v Chris Dobey. Dobey stunned Gary Anderson around and that he thoroughly outplayed him. I can see him putting in a screen . Wade was far from his best and was so poor due to his doubling although white conquer Wade around. Dobey is a fairly major price to acquire but awarded the unpredictably of this structure and also Ian Whites skill I believe Dobey +1.5 places is the bet. 26/25 is very generous given two nights 11, he played! If he wins, good, but if not I could see it being tight and also the handicap landing.
My choice comes in game of the day. Michael Van Gerwen was incredible against Jeffrey De Zwaan. He encounters Mervyn King tonight who has played really well so far. His scoring has been impressive but I cant see him beating tonight to MVG. He may get one set on the board, and I believe Michael Van Gerwen to acquire 3-1 is a price at 12/5. That he just needs to miss out a few opportunities and michael is not immune to missing quite a few darts and King should capitalise. I anticipate Van Gerwen to win this but may see King nicking a set.
