Book Taylor-Prograis and Chisora-Price
While world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr in a rematch on December 7, equally reside on Sky Sports Box Office will be challenged by Joshua chisora will combat David Price on October 26.
Sparring, yes, Chisora stated. Hes tall, I am short!
Im going to see him weekly. He has asked me a few times before but Ive been too busy.
Chisora and Joshua came across the identical Finchley gym and remain near, butve never sparred as professionals.
Chisoras manager Haye said concerning discussions to spar Joshua:For both of their various fights, they are ideal sparring partners for each other.
If some heavyweight can mimic Ruiz Jrs strain, its Derek. Its AJ if anyone can mimic the long-range jab of Price.
There is potential for sparring, particularly in the past week [of Chisoras coaching camp]. Eight rounds or six would be good preparationfor Derek, but for AJ as well.
Hopefully we can get it on the line
Joshuas staff are keen to improve his pool of sparring partners, following promoter Eddie Hearn admitted theystruggled to adequately copy Ruiz Jrs personality at the build-up to their very first fight.
Hearn told Sky Sports earlier this week about Joshuas revamped sparring:We have got that under control.
Sparring is something we have been working at. First time around we only had three months of sparring, and four months. We found men but probably not the men we desired.
Now the sparring is best class. Hes focused and looking great.
Joshua was defeated with rumours, he denied, that a sparring partner had hurt him before he dropped to Ruiz Jr..
Joshua stated on AJ: The Untold Truth:I feel as though people are more interested in their five minutes of fame.
In sparring, everybody would like to be famous, instead of a fantastic fighter.
You cant actually enjoy your work and training on things without someone seeking to create false allegations, and attempting to get five minutes of fame.
You bring someone into your coaching camp to do them a favour, youre paying them, nothing like [the knock-down rumour] because nature has happened, you conquer them in each round, then they go and do a meeting.
It only happens all the time in boxing, but theres only a great deal of jealousy
Hearn formerly explained:It is so hard to replicate the style of Andy Ruiz. The guy is 61, he is 19st, and hes got pace such as a middleweight.
It is 1 thing getting a sparring partner in, its getting them to allow their hands move against Anthony Joshua. Would you need to do this? You have got to be mad to spar with him combat him.
[Last time] we tried to get the sparring inwe fought a little bit, no excuses, but this time round the preparation has got to be put on.
