Bellator Newcastle takes place Saturday, February 9 in Utilita Arena at Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.

The offshore sportsbooks recently opened the complete odds for the primary card, and here they are.
Bellator Newcastle Odds
Patricky Pitbull -510
Ryan Scope +340
Aaron Chalmers -275
Corey Browning +195
Terry Brazier -530
Chris Bungard +350
Fabian Edwards -380
Lee Chadwick +280
And here are my initial thoughts on the Bellator Newcastle introductory lines:
Like many Bellator cards, this one is full of big favorites. The majority of them need to win, such as Pitbull in the primary event against Scope. The large different here is obviously the experience and level of competition faced. Pitbull has been one of the best lightweights in Bellator for years (and probably among the most underrated lightweights in the game ) while Scope is a Bellator newcomer who hasn’t fought anyone of note, save for a split decision win over former UFC fighter Mickel Lebout in his last bout. Scope has actually been involved in the sport since a teen, but has never really made it big, whilst Pitbull is still one of the best lightweights in Bellator. I anticipate Pitbull to get his hand raised and he will be a favorite parlay bit amongst bettors.
I’m not totally sold on Chalmers and that I wouldn’t be shocked if Browning pulled off another upset. Chalmers does have four first-round finishes, but the former reality TV celebrity in England has been receiving easy matchups from the matchmakers. Browning was not supposed to be competitive against Baby Slice in his Bellator debut, but he ended up finishing Kevin Ferguson Jr. by knockout in one of the greatest upsets of 2018 in MMA. I think Browning is probably a bit better than most people believe he is, and I would not be surprised at all if he got the angry here. As far as I’m concerned, this can be a dog-or-pass situation.
Brazier is making his Bellator using a ton of hype as an former BAMMA champion. He’s won his last nine fights and hasn’t tasted defeat as a 2015 knockout loss which was his sole livelihood defeat. Bungard has a nice quantity of expertise on the European regional circuit and is a decent gatekeeper type of fighter, but that is clearly Bellator trying to fit up Brazier with a guy who he can conquer in his promotional debut. Much like Pitbull, I expect Brazier to acquire this battle handily and expect him to be a popular parlay piece too.
Like Pitbull and Brazier, Edwards looks like he will be a popular chalk bit also. The brother of this UFC’s Leon is only 5-0 and he’s only 25, meaning he has a bright MMA career before him. Chadwick is a veteran of 40 fights and has fought many of England’s top boxers, but he has been completed twice, including four knockout losses, and this looks like another fight where the heavy favorite should shine. I’d definitely keep your eye out to the Edwards within the distance props, but he’s another man to consider placing to a Bellator chalk parlay.
